{photo albums}

i remember the old days when my family used to visit 
the homes of our relatives and friends,
---bored and sitting in their living rooms,
i would entertain myself 
flipping the yellowing pages of their old photo albums,
while the old ones went about their business.

i am sure that every household today, 
still have a couple or more old photo albums.
we have them in different colors of florals, geometric, 
solid or patterned (not pretty at all).

          

i love the aged and vintage effects of the old pages

but 

i don't want to hide them in a box in the basement,

-- just because --

they don't match the style of the house or 
-- just because --

they're ugly-looking. 

i covered the old albums with kraft wrapping paper

(the one i used here is thicker and heavier than the regular kraft paper,

the past owner of our house left this huge roll when we moved in, yay!)

i used chalkboard paint and chalkboard marker for the labels.

next time you need another album, 

no need to stress on the color or design.

and like the old days, bring them out in the living room

for everyone to enjoy.

my craft room is under construction

while I make changes 
for a bigger {can't get bigger anymore}
but a better craft room

my stuff are packed and inaccessible

which makes my crafting so limited

but that's not stopping me at all

i'm working on stuff i can make 
in the comfort of my couch or my bed,

the good old fashion way
using no machine, just my hands, basically

Something to look forward to in 2013

i was able to make 32 posts since starting my blog in september
- never thought i could do these in the beginning -

but

since then it became something i look forward doing everyday.

there are so many projects i have in mind 

but would love to do more sewing projects using my serger 

and more embroidery projects

so looking forward to a backyard make-over which includes 

building a fire pit and converting an old swing set into a garden oasis

❏ my etsy shop

after setting up my etsy shop in september , 

I still have to post my very first item for sale to be able to open my shop.
